Sitex Environmental, Inc. was founded in St. Louis in 1984 by
professional engineers with collectively over 50 years of environmental
experience. Projects ranged from asbestos-related work in some of
the most remote portions of Alaska to multi-disciplinary local
environmental projects such as the St. Louis Galleria development
in 1991 and the Kiel Sports Complex in 1994. In 1998, SITEX was
purchased from its founders by a new, aggressive management team
who are firmly committed to attaining global-class status for SITEX and
its partner companies. By merging with Professional Safety and Health,
Inc. (PSH) in July, 1999, SITEX expanded its services into the
Occupational Safety and Health and Training areas. PSH was also
founded in St. Louis in the mid-1980s by an experienced professional
engineer, which made it an excellent match for the new SITEX team.
Most recently, SITEX has added top notch senior environmental and
training managers from both the St. Louis and Chicago areas. The
philosophy is simple: superstars, vision, hard work, and dedication to
our clients is a sure recipe for success. This is the new SITEX. We are
proud of our St. Louis roots and are equally proud of projecting a
positive image of our region to our national and global clientele.
