As part of our commitment to provide unsurpassed training
and professional services to our clients, SITEX will be
consolidating our local offices into a restored 70-year old
convent in the historic Soulard Market district of St. Louis
in late summer, 2000. The new facility is currently being
renovated to our specifications and will house the most
technologically advanced and architecturally unique
environmental and occupational safety and health training
facility in the region. It will feature a main classroom
complete with arched ceilings and windows and two
hands-on training rooms with a boiler, tanks, and overhead
piping for real world experience. One room will feature
ceiling-mounted hoist points to allow simulation of mock
rescues from confined spaces such as rail cars. Additionally,
the new facility will provide an exciting, historically
significant, first-class office environment for the SITEX team
and visiting clients. Parking is free and restaurants of all
types are within easy walking distance for lunch.
